Mary -Dee- Burchett of Martin, Ky. a longtime resident of Floyd Co., and the daughter of the late George and Bertha Hayes Baldridge, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009, at Northpoint Health Care Center in Lexington. She was a retired director of the Martin Senior Citizens, and remained active in travel, and in her community organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Burchett, and her daughter, Mary Kaaren Hall.
She is survived by, One sister, Irene Geisick of Langley; One daughter, Ruth Burchett Gray of Lexington; and four grandchildren: John H, and (Kim) Gray of Paintsville, Lesley Gray of Louisville, David Perkins of Greenville, North Carolina and Phillip Perkins of Georgetown.
She is also survived her sisters-in-law; Fanny Baldridge and Ilene Baldridge Isaacs; her gret-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her beloved friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: John R. Baldridge, Bernard Baldridge, Dexter Baldridge, Melda Fannin and Muriel Baldridge.
