Obituary:
Grandfather Beach was born in St. Lawrence Co., New York. Passed from this life December 29, 1901, being 83 years, 6 months and 18 days old. Mr. Beach had lived in Kansas about 16 years. His wife passed away 29 years ago. Since that time he has lived a widower, making his home with his children. On account of his mildness of nature he will be greatly missed by his friends. He leaves four children to mourn his departure. The funeral services were held in the M.E. Church at Waldo by Rev. C. S. Knous, and the body interred in the Vincent Cemetery.
