Thomas Cain, 63, a former resident, died Jan. 15 in a Utica hospital. He was born in Utica, son [sic, grandson] of Thomas and Anastasia Ryan Cain. He attended Madison schools. He was associated with his father in the operation of Cain's Hotel. He also had been barn inspector for the Jetter Milk Company. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Joseph's Church, Oriskany Falls. The funeral will be at 8:30 Thursday from the James W. Davis Jr., Funeral Home, and at 9 from St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight.
