Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Chapel in Crescent with the Rev. Mark LeMarr officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery in Crescent.
She was born May 4, 1918, in Spanish Fort, Texas, to Warner David and Edna Palmer.
She married Derrold Niles on April 10, 1937. He preceded her in death. She and her husband owned and operated the Crescent Springs Café for many years, then operated the café at Cedar Valley Golf Course.
She was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Niles and wife Helen of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Bobby; one sister, Faye; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Derrold, two sons, David and Sonny, 10 brothers and sisters, and one grandson.
