She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of William B. Starkey of Grantsville and the late Betty Knight Starkey.
She was a 1976 graduate of Calhoun County High School and was employed at E.I. DuPont.
Surviving in addition to her father and step-mother, William and Mary Starkey of Grantsville, are one brother, Gregory Starkey of Belleville, Ohio; two nephews; two nieces; and one great-niece.
Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, with Rev. Mary Zimmer officiating. Burial was in Big Bend Cemetery.
