On February 4, 1945, Etheleen was united in marriage to Roland Armstrong on the US Air Base in Galveston, Texas. They shared over 63 years of marriage together before his death on September 3, 2008.
She is survived by her children, Mark Armstrong and Susan Marino, of Waynesville, and Sarah Wilson and John, of Creve Coeur; two siblings, Roger Enloe and Sue, of Eldon, and Jeane Wheeler and Murray, of Tolland, Ct.; five grandchildren, Michelle Rutherford, Anthony Marino, Sean and Justin Skaggs, and Tracy Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Isabella Marino and Kayla Rutherford; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Etheleen Armstrong were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Waynesville.
Burial will be at a later date in the Enloe Cemetery in Russelville, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
Visitation was from 12:30 p.m. Sunday until service time at the First Baptist Church in Waynesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Denver J. Enloe Scholarship Fund for the Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
