Marjorie married Horace H. Latimer, Sr. (1898-1980) about 1918. One son: Horace H. Latimer, Jr. (1919-1989). The family lived at 2522 Summer Ave. in the 1920s and 1930s. They also had a cottage at Lake Waco. Horace & Marjorie lived at 1207 S. Valley Mills (Highway 6) in Waco in the 1950s. Later, they lived at 3832 Huaco Lane.

Mrs. H.H. (Marjorie) Latimer, Sr., of Waco, an active member of church and civic organizations, died Sunday, July 19, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Waco Memorial Park, the Rev. William G. Whitaker officiating.
Mrs. Latimer was born in Waco. She was a graduate of Waco High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco since 1922. She was a charter member of the WSCS (Women's Society of Christian Service) and a charter member and president of the Federation Garden Club.
Mrs. Latimer was a member of the Century Study Club, the Waco Art League, Waco Chapter No. 7 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Poetry Club, French Club, and the Shakespeare Club. She was a member of the Historic Waco Foundation.
Survivors include a son, Horace H. Latimer, Jr., of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Olga Goddard of Waco; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2112 Trinity Drive. The family has designated the individual's favorite charity for memorials.
Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
