Mrs. Bonnie Opal Parrish, 88, of Florence, passed away July 30, 2013. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, from 10-noon at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Carl Seigenthaler. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her husband, Turner W. Parrish; parents, W.A. and Paralee House; sisters, Jessie Middleton, Alcie Crotts, Lissie House; brothers, Roy Lee, Jim, Curtis and Grady House; son-in-law, Ronald Rikard.
She is survived by her son, Gordon Parrish (Ann); daughter, Judy Rikard; grandchildren, Cynthia West (Robert), Selina Henley, Andrea Young (Will), Alexander Parrish; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Cody McGee, Kaitlyn Henley.
Active pallbearers will be Lawrence Smith, Alexander Parrish, Cody McGee, Cleve Miles, John Pace and Sammy Hale.
Special thanks to Gentiva and Hospice of the Shoals.
Honorary pallbearers will be Will Young, elders and deacons of New Hope Church of Christ.
