John Belsky, 84, of Wellington Street, Washington, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, March 27, 1992, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born March 5, 1908, in Shirrerstown, a son of Michael and Julia Salenga Belsky.
Mr. Belsky was employed for 50 years as a coal miner at Vesta No. 4 Mine in Richeyville and was a member of the United Mine Workers union.
He was a member of the Jahovah's Witnesses; congregation in Washington.
His wife, Corina Arlotta Belsky, is deceased.
Surviving are two brothers, Michael S. Belski of Coca Beach, Fla., and Joseph G. Belsky of Clarksville; a sister, Sophie M. Burish of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his wife, are a brother, Peter p. Belski; and a sister, Mary Apanasewicz.
