Died, Friday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m., at her home, 404 South Douglas avenue, of a complication of diseases, Mrs. Mary Glidden Culp, widow of Levi Culp, aged 72 years, 3 months.

Mrs. Culp's maiden name was Mary Tomlinson, and she was born near Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 9, 1824. She was married near Circleville, Ohio, to Mr. Glidden, and after his death she was married in the same vicinity to Levi Culp. They came to this city about twenty-two years ago. Mrs. Culp was a member of St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral and was a devout Christian. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Troxell, and had been confined to her bed the past four weeks. Mrs. Culp was a woman of amiable disposition and was respected and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by three children: Mr. H. H. Glidden of Chicago, Mrs. W. S. Troxell of this city, and Harvey J. Culp, of this city, but now of Des Moines, Ia. The latter two were at her bedside at the time of her demise. Mr. Glidden will arrive today from Chicago to attend the funeral services.
