Mr. Worry worked as an Equipment Operator for Texas Department of Transportation until his retirement. He was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church. During WWII in served in the U.S. Army. He is a lifetime of VFW Post #9313 in San Augustine.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Worry of San Augustine; daughter Shirley Byley and husband Harold (Dinky) of San Augustine; sisters Paralee Adams of Diboll and Lela Mae Jefferson of Nacogdoches; and brother Lonnie Ray Worry of San Augustine.
Services will be Monday, February 7, 2011, 2:00 P.M., New Hope Pentecostal Church with Rev. Cookie Fitzgerald and Bro. Jeffy Fountain officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the VFW and the American Legion. Visitation will be at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6, 2011, 4:00 til 8:00 P.M.
Services are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home at 316 W. Columbia, San Augustine, Texas.
