Mrs. Lorena M Miller, 85 formerly of 106 Second Avenue, died at 8:15 pm Tuesday in Athens,Ohio

Mrs Miller had been in failing health for several years. She was born on October 3, 1884 in Piketon, daughter of Aaron and Hannah Copeland Fee.

She married J. Warren Miller in 1908. He preceded her in death in February , 1930.

Six sons and two daughters were born to this union. One daughter , Katheryn , drowned in 1923; Eleanor Canterbury was killed in a car mishap in 1962 and one son , Lt. James E Miller, was killed in action during World War II in 1945, another son , Wayne Miller, died in 1955.

Surviving are Charles W Miller, Sarasota, Fla, Paul L Miller, Eau Gallie, Fla, William C Miller, Elizabeth , N J and Loren F Miller, Gallipolis. Fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren survive. Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral services at the Waugh Halley Wood Funeral Home with Rev. A. H. MacKenzie officiatig In lieu of flowers , friends have been asked to contribute to the mental health association, American Heart Fund or the St. Peter's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund
