Danny Malone

Services for Danny Malone, 46, were held Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Griffin Funeral Home chapel with Gary Reynolds officiating. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery. Born Aug. 15, 1956, in Tishomingo to J.D. Malone and Audrey Robinson Malone, he died June 16, 2003, at the local hospital.

A life member of the Loyal Order of Moose, he served his lodge as junior governor, three terms as governor and two terms as past governor. He received his Fellowship Degree in Minneapolis in 1999. He held every chair in Sooner Moose Legion 147, including president, and was currently in the position as Legion Ambassador.

He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Lonnie and Glen Malone.

Survivors include his wife, the former Tamara Hart, sons, Matthew Daniel Malone and Jessie Dean Malone, all of Ardmore; a daughter, Rebecca McDonnell and husband, Kenny; his mother, Audrey Malone, Wynnewood; brothers, Bill and wife, Diann, Ardmore, Johnny Malone, Wynnewood, Nickie and wife, Brenda, Sulphur, Alvin Malone and Ricky Malone, both of Wynnewood, Dennis Malone and wife, Kay, Texas; sisters, Linda Wix and husband, Jackie, Arkansas, Vickie Malone, Wynnewood, Anita Malone, Graham, Donna Malone, Sioux Falls, S.C., Melanie Middaugh, Ardmore; two grandchildren, Jessica and Josh McDonnell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bearers were Nickie, Alvin, Dennis, Ricky, Chris and Shawn Malone. Honorary bearers were all Sooner Moose Legion 147 members.
