Philipina Margretha Hauenstein, daughter of Johann Philip Greser and his wife, Catharina Margretha Grill, was born 10 March 1783 in Albisheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. She married Johann Peter Hauenstein in a civil ceremony in Albisheim 13 December 1810 and in a church ceremony 20 January 1811 also in Albisheim. Johann Peter Hauenstein and Pheba had eight children: Anna Catharina married Abraham Fultz, Jacob H. married Lucinda Dull, Johanetta died young, Johann Peter Jr. married1) Lydia Weimer, married2) Catharina Pyle/Pile, Johanetta "Hannah" married George Moore, Caroline married John Dull, Maria Philipina (Memorial 65239294) and Frederika, no further record. Pheba's death was reported in both the Pennsylvania Argus and The Republican newspapers on 23 May 1845.
