Isabel Parkins Suto, 41, a former lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps, died Friday after a short illness at the Washington Sanitarium. She was buried in Arlington National Cemetery (10-10574-B= ts- Marland/ 1st Lieutenant/ Army Nurse Corps/ World War II), Arlington, Virginia.
Mrs. Suto was a native of Round Hill, Va. and attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, W.Va. (ed. error- Va., not W.Va.) She was a graduate of St. Elizabeths Hospital School of Nursing here and during World War II served at the 74th General Hospital in the European Theater.
She is survived by her husband, Frank J. and two daughters, Ruth Ellen and Martha Jane, all at the home address, Landy Court, Kensington, and her mother Mrs. William S. Parkins of Marymont Rd., Silver Spring."
Under Death notices, same paper, same page is reported; "SUTO, ISABEL PARKINS -- On Friday, February 24, 1961 at Washington Sanitarium and Hospital, ISABEL PARKINS SUTO, of Landy court, Kensington, Md., wife of Frank J. Suto, mother of Misses Ruth Ellen and Martha Jayne (error - Jane) Suto, and daughter of Mrs. William S. Parkins. She is also survived by four brothers. Friends may call at Gawler's Chapel 1736 Pennsylvania, USA Ave. NW. (courtesy parking opposite), until 10 p.m. Sunday. Service will be held at Ft.
