Carolina was born in Westphalia, Germany, and came to Texas in 1872 at the age of 23.
She married first to Johann Lehmann on December 5, 1873, in Washington County, Texas, and after his death, she married Henry Kueck on December 6, 1895. She was widowed the second time in 1910.

OBITUARY FROM THE BRENHAM BANNER PRESS:
MRS. C. KUECK HAS PASSED AWAY; FUNERAL SUNDAY
Mrs. Carolina Kueck, one of the pioneer woman of this section of Texas, passed away at 12:50 Saturday morning at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Struckmeyer of the Cedar Hill community, with whom she has made her home for the past seventeen years. She had attained the age of 86 years, 5 months, and 29 days. Some time ago this aged lady had the misfortune to fall and break her hip, and since that accident was confined to her bed until her death. The deceased was born in Westfalen, Germany, April 29, 1849, and grew to womanhood there. When twenty-three years of age, she emigrated to America and settled in Washington County. She was married in 1874 to John Lehmann, and he died in 1895, leaving her with seven children and three step-children. In 1896, she married Henry Kueck, who passed away in 1910, leaving her with six step-children. She is survived by six children, as follows: Henry Lehmann of Malone, Mrs. Henry Buck of Long Point, Mrs. Louis Struckmeyer of Cedar Hill, Mrs. Wm. Spreen of Prairie Hill, John Lehmann of Sandy Hill, and Mrs. Will Rust of Sandy Hill. She also leaves seven step-children, 26 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives and a host of warm friends to mourn her death. She was a sweet and lovable old lady, with many estimable qualities. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Struckmeyer of Cedar Hill, and will be continued at the Prairie Hill Lutheran church, with Rev. P. Gogolin, the pastor, officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery at Prairie Hill, and her grandsons will serve as active pall bearers.
