He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Farmington.
He is survived by his wife, Marie and two sons, David of Bonaparte, and Gene of Farmington and three daughters, Mrs. Oris (Clysta) Williams, Farmington, Mrs. Herb (Ethel) Dickey and Mrs. Mary Stuart, both of Jefferson, Iowa; two sisters, Grace Elmore of Fairfield and Muriel Wallingford of Bonaparte; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 16, 1976, at 10 a.m. in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.
