Charles H. Rain, of 12 Parker street, died Tuesday, at 5:45 p.m., in Bridgeton Hospital, where he had been a patient for three weeks and two days. The deceased was a clerk at the plant of the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, where he had been employed over 32 years. He was an active member of Calanthe Lodge, No. 103, Knoghts of Pythias, Komar Temple, No. 240, DOKK, and of Laurel Hill Methodist Church, where he served on the official board.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Irene; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Donn, Mrs. Wayne Kline and Mrs. Thomas Baker, and five grandchildren. A brother, Harry Rain, also survives and a sister, Mrs. Williard Hoffner.
The funeral will be held with services in the West Side funeral home, 181 Atlantic street; with interment in Overlook Cemetery.
