Yolanda "Linda" Marcella Garrett, 36, of Chicago, formerly of Burlington, died Thursday, May 26, 2005.

Born October 17, 1968, in Osceola, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Willie James Bradley and Jessie Mae Garrett.

Ms. Garrett enjoyed singing, cooking and reading. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Ashanti Garrett of Burlington; three sons, Andron Garrett of Burlington, Aaron Bethea of Peoria, Illinois and Adrian Bethea of Osceola, Arkansas; two grand children; her mother and step father, William and Jessie Stout of Burlington; three sisters, W. Janet Childress of Wilson, Arkansas, Sarah Bradley of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Renea "Bambi" Atkins of Goshen, Indiana; four brothers, Trent Garrett of Lafayette, Lousiana, Kevin Garrett of St. Louis, Missouri, Willie James Bradley and DeStephen Brown, both of Elkhart, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Garrett of Osceola, Arkansas; paternal grandmother, Heatie Bradley of Elkhart; her step mother, Lacy Belle Bonds; two step sisters, Keisha Stout and Natasha Stout both of Waco, Texas; six step brothers, Issiah and Elijah Stout of Burlington, Derlanza and Dashen Bonds of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Genaro and Thswjaun Bonds of Elkhart; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and one stepbrother.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Ms. Garrett will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Earvan Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
