The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Wed. Jun 15, 1921
The funeral of Wilson Reynolds, who passed away June 3 at his home on North C street in Richmond, was held at the Nettle Creek Friends Church Monday morning of last week at 11 o'clock, and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining. Rev. Henry Pickett, of Lynn, and Rev. Howard E. Brown, of Richmond, being the officiating minister.
Mr. Reynolds was 77 years of age and was born on the farm on a portion of which the Nettle Creek Friends Church now stands.
About ten years since he retired from active farm life and with Mrs. Reynolds removed to Richmond, where he continued to reside until his death.
Mr. Reynolds was one of the most highly respected citizens of this section, and during his many years of citizenship bore an honored name throughout the community.
He was a staunch member of the Friends church, to all services of which he was a faithful attendant. As a reward of faithfulness he was made an officer in the church body.
He leaves to mourn their loss the wife and many other relatives, and many sympathizing friends. Mrs. Charles N. Teetor, of this place, and Mrs. Sarah Blackburn, of Potsdam, Ohio, are nieces of the deceased, Mrs. Reynolds accompanying the latter to her home at Potsdam after the funeral.
