Mr. Perry Amos and Miss Maude Waggoner were married last Friday evening at the home of the bridge, Rev. Shaw officiating. After the wedding ceremony a nice supper was enjoyed by a few relatives and friends. Mr. Amos is a prosperous young farmer and Miss Waggoner is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Waggoner and is one of the successful teachers of our county. They will make their home on the farm northwest of Lockwood. May they enjoy a life-long happiness is the wish of their friends.

Mrs. Perry Amos, 60, a former resident of Lockwood and Greenfield, died Monday at her home in Tulsa after a long illness.
Mrs. Amos is survived by her husband, Perry; two sons, Kenneth and Vernon, both of Tulsa; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Clark of Lockwood and Mrs. Mabel Helms and Mrs. Erin Striggs, both of California; two brothers, Loren Waggoner of Tahlequah, Okla., and Ernest Waggoner of California; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Lockwood Christian church with the Rev. Fred Harris officiating. Burial was in Pippinger cemetery.
