He climbed the church steeple to a ball 80 feet from the ground, stood with one foot upon it, and swung his hat. He removed to Maine, became a man of prominence, a deacon in the church, and much esteemed. He died at Weeks Mills, China, Me., March 12, 1868, ae. 93.
