Betsy was the daughter of Daniel David Stewart Sr and Sarah Smith. Betsy died sometime after 1860.

Betsy married Paul Smith Sr. 14 Mar 1822, in Clay Co KY. They had 9 children that I know of.

Betsy was the 3rd Great Grandmother of Lee Smith and the 4th Great Grandmother of our children Staci and Todd Smith.

The license was issued for him to marry, Betsy Steward March 12, 1822 , signed by John Murphy J.P. The permission slip was signed by her father Daniel Steward, and the witnesses were Moses Hubbard and Henry Smith. February 25, 1822. Paul Smith and Moses Hubbard gave their marks for the marriage bond, February 25, 1822.
