Alfred J. Pickett, 47, East Cork street, Route 5, died at his home early Sunday morning after an illness of 11 years caused by sleeping sickness. He was born in Ridgeway, N. Y., and had resided in Kalamazoo for 26 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's church and the Knights of Columbus.
