Shirley Kriedeman, 63, Velva, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at a Velva nursing home.

She was born May 1, 1940, in Towner, ND, the daughter of Nick and Anna (Bachmeier) Adam. She was reared and educated in the Drake and Orrin, ND areas.

Shirley worked at the Super Grill and Restaurant in Minot for a number of years and also as a home healthcare provider for her son, Joe for the past nine years. She married Clarence Kriedeman on June 10, 1958, at Blumenfeld Church, rural Orrin. The couple lived in several states throughout their married life. In 1992, the couple moved to Velva where they have since made their home. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts, teaching the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, tending to her flowers, playing guitar and especially saying the rosary in her Shrine.

Shirley was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Velva.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
