He was married to Emma Jean Shearin on September 5, 1998 and she preceded him in death on April 28, 2007. He had been employed by RCA at Bloomington, was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and was very active in Bassmasters.
He is survived by his children, Crystal D. Dalton and husband Jeffery, Poland, Shelbie Stephenson, Poland, William R. Bray and wife Kimberly, Plainfield, Michael G. Bray and fiancée Tammy Terrell, Clay City and John D. Bray and fiancée Yvonne M. McCaslin, Indianapolis; his father, Robert E. Orcutt, Sr.; his sisters, Linda Loudermilk and husband Richard, Indianapolis, Sandy Adams, Greenwood, Patty Freeman and husband William, Ellettsville, Debbie Johnson and husband David, Greenwood and Tootsie Hoffman and husband Ron, Bethel Springs, TN and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery at Poland.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jane Orcutt on May 3, 1998.
