Funeral services for H.C. Stringer, 49, former school teacher who had been ill for a number of years and whose death occurred at Martins Mill Monday morning, were held Tuesday morning from the Odell Peel home near Martins Mill. Interment followed in the Holly Springs cemetery.
The Masonic Lodge assisted in the services, which were conducted by Rev. Ben Jones.
The Dennis Funeral Chapel of Athens was in charge of funeral arrangements.
The deceased had been a life long resident of the Martins Mill community.
