Harriette Dorothy Hamann was born on April 18, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Central High School. She married Eyvind Caesar Quist on May 24, 1938. they have three children, Kay, Nancy and Larry. Harriette was blessed of God with many talents and gifts. Eyvind said many times that it was Hariette who led him to a relationship with Jesus Christ. We know very well that she walked with God.
Hariette loved to garden and to craft, and loved to sew, knit and crochet. It was said that she could do just about anything, from drawing up house plans to fixing automobiles. Most of all she will be remembered for her great love.
Let us honor her with our hearts filled with joy, knowing that her labor has not been in vain. She was so very loyal to her God and to those around her. Her loyalty was a very large part of her character. We have been blessed in a greater way having known and loved Harriette. She would wish us all God's blessings today!
