Fred Valentine Barcroft Jr., 63, of the 3300 block of Hungarian Road, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003 in Tandem Healthcare, Norfolk.
A native of Princess Anne County, Virginia Beach, he was the son of the late Fred V. Sr. and Lillie Hewitt Barcroft.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters, Elizabeth Tolson of Virginia Beach, Louise Pownall of Mount Olive, N.C., Shirley Cahoon and her husband Miller of East Lake, N.C. and Beverly Weaver and her husband Edgar of Mount Sterling, Ohio; three brothers, Lloyd J. Barcroft and his wife Doris of Norfolk, Thomas L. Barcroft and his wife Sharon of Hardy, Va. and Walter P. Barcroft II and his wife Sandra of Virginia Beach; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Richard Yates officiating. The family will receive friends at Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, Virginia Beach, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
