George was employed as an investigator for a law firm in Chicago where he and his wife Georgia (Flagg)had lived for 14 years. He died of Tuberculosis there soon after their 18th wedding anniversary. George and Georgia were married at St. Philip's Church in Battle Creek, 11 July 1899. His grave remains unmarked in 2011. His parents are buried nearby.
