Holly Dees, 68, of Waltonville, Illinois was dead on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital at 2:11PM yesterday, January 1, 1979, an apparent heart attack victum
Mr. Dees was a member of the Waltonville Village Board of Trustees and was involved in farming and trucking.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday at the Fry Funeral Chapel in Waltonville with burial in Knob Prairie Cemetary in Waltonville. Reverand Howard Flota will officiate.
Mr. Dees was born in Jefferson County on August 29, 1910, a son of Lee and Sally (Bean) Dees. He was married to the former Eudene Mae Braden who survives. Friends may call at the Fry Funeral Chapel at 6:00PM on Tuesday.
Mr Dees was a Charter Member and Trustie of the Waltonville Free Will Babtist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Hollis Dees, Daryl Dees and Randy Dees all of Waltonville, one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Betty) Walden of Waltonville, two brothers, Baron "Dick" Dees of Arizona and Reverand Tracy Dees of Waltonville, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents,three sisters and two brothers.
