EMMERICH - On August 14 1921 LUDWIG ANDREW, aged 58 years, beloved husband of Ellen Jane Emmerich (nee Kelly). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services from his late residence 1417 W Lombard street on Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM. Interment in Rose Hill section of Loudon Park Cemetery.

Baltimore Sun June 16 1892 - Marriages - Mr. L. A. Emmerich and Miss Ella Kelley were married at 8 o'clock in the evening at Union Square Methodist Episcopal Church, Baltimore, by the pastor, Rev. Mr. F.B. Rice. The ushers were Messrs. Wm. C Burkins, C.M. Benson, G.F.Forrest, and H.W. Price. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the future home of the couple, 1626 West Baltimore Street.

Ludwig was a produce wholesaler. I found many advertisements in the Baltimore Sun regarding his sale of mostly grapes and occasionally lemons at his stands on Lexington, Hollins and West Baltimore. He purchased his fruits from Fred Dorsey's farm in Hagerstown.
