Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Shepherd Jones, 80, of Groesbeck, Tex., who died in a local hospital at 5:45 a.m. Sunday after a long illness, were to be held at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel in Groesbeck today. The body was sent to Groesbeck Sunday by Wellman Funeral home.
Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.E. Hobbs of Cotton Valley; two brothers, Clint Shepherd of Corsicana, Tex., and Thad Shepherd of Waco, Tex., two sisters, Mrs. Mae Schmidt and Mrs. Birdie Gibson, both of Thornton, Tex.; also 12 grandchildren.
