Helen Frances Gould, 92, of Fulton passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time. Interment will be in Richland Baptist Cemetery in Kingdom City.
She was born on April 17, 1918, near McCredie to the late Robert N. and Virginia (Baynham) Craig. On Dec. 26, 1950, she was united in marriage to Samuel F. Gould, who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 2001.
Helen worked for the Callaway County Clerk's office from 1939 and retired in April 1980. She was a charter member of the Southside Baptist Church in Fulton.
She prayed every day for ways to help others. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Virginia Sue Ross and her husband Richard of Columbia; and one son, Robert S. Gould and his wife Gina of Fulton; five grandchildren, Chris Gould, Jenna Ross, and Clint Ross, all of Columbia, and A.J. Gould and Kurt Gould of Fulton.
