Chico Enterprise-Record, Chico, CA, Wednesday, June 26, 1957: "Robert Lusk. Robert A. Lusk, who had made his home in Chico and Paradise since 1915, died at his home on East Fifth Avenue late Tuesday evening. He was born in Trenton, [Grundy County] MO, on June 16, 1886, and had moved to Canda where two of his four children were born.
"In 1915, he and his family moved to Paradise and later to Chico. Until ill health forced his retirement 18 years ago, had been employed by the Diamond Match Company as a millwright.
"Surviving Mr. Lusk is his wife, Nettie, and the following children: Mrs. Reba Jordan of Sacramento; Albert W. Lusk of Paradise; Robert A. Lusk, Jr. of Tillamook, OR; and Ernest Lusk of Sacramento. In addition to his wife, and children, Mr. Lusk is survived by four grandsons, and a sister, Mrs. Janie Overton of Trenton, MO. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the Brusie Funeral Home Friday at 10 a.m. and interment will be in the Chico cemetery."
