Emma Mozelle (Wilson) Grubb, 85, of Pulaski, Va. passed away peacefully on Monday January 31, 2011, at Warm Hearth Health Center, Blacksburg, VA where she received loving care for the past 5 years following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Born in Snowville, Virginia on January 19, 1926, Mozelle was the daughter of the late Drayton Wilson & Emma Vaughan Wilson Hall. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray and Murrell Wilson; and sisters, Mary Wilson and Doris Farmer, all of Pulaski. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph D. Grubb of Pulaski; son & daughter-in-law Dan and Debbie Grubb of Pulaski; grandson Bradley Grubb
of Charlottesville, Va and several nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Christiansburg High School, she moved to Pulaski and began working for the Virginia Employment Commission, where she met her future husband Ralph, thus making Pulaski their home. A faithful charter member of Memorial Baptist Church in Pulaski she loved her church, gardening, birds and family. Mozelle worked as a deputy clerk in the Pulaski County Commissioner of Revenue Office for over 25 years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday Feb 3 from 12:00 To 2:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church in Pulaski followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM with the Pastor David Lones officiating. A reception will follow at the Church Fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 995 Peppers Ferry Road, Pulaski, VA 24301 or to The Warm Hearth Foundation, 2607 Warm Hearth Drive, Suite 100, Blacksburg, VA 24060. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski.
