Charles Ward goes to the southern part of the state this week to see the Colonel of his old regiment, and if possible be mustered out of the service. He got separated from his regiment at Paducah, Ky., and was reported drowned. The war closed soon after and he, being sick, never re-joined his regiment, and so was never discharged.
