The daughter of Ernest and Adele Peter Craw, she was born at Mercer, Wis., April 16, 1935. There she grew to womanhood and graduated from the Mercer high school as valedictorian in 1954. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing at Duluth.
On December 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Richard L. Vork at Mercer, Wis. They established their home at Hibbing for six months. The next three years they resided at Washburn, Wis., then moved to Belmont, Wis., where they resided for 2 ½ years. In January, 1964, they moved to Nerstrand, Minnesota, where she had since resided.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Richard L. Vork and two daughters, Diane, age five, and Linda, three years of age; her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Nerstrand Methodist EUB Church. Clergyment officiating were Dr. Edward S. Martin and Rev. A. B. Utzman. Mrs. Woodrow Wolf rendered a vocal solo, accompanied by Mrs. Archie Dalbotten, organist. Arthur Gess, Robert Hope, John Kispert, Leroy Miller, Walter Musehl and Harland Wille served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Roger Albright, Milton Bollenbach, Everett Hamann, Roy Janousek, Irwin and Roy Kispert, Herman Langemo, Warren Lyman, Curtis Starch and Glenn VonWald.
Interment took place at the Spring Park Cemetery at Sandstone, Minnesota.
