FORT WORTH - Edgar F. "Ed" Allmond, 83, a retired technician for Frontier Airline, died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997, at a local nursing home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown, Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Edgar F. "Ed" Allmond was born Oct. 25, 1914, in Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas.

Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Mary Allmond of Fort Worth; and son, Perry L. Allmond of Fort Worth.
