She was born in Manhattan, N.Y. Feb. 2, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Helen Brault Thompson.
She was a genealogist for The General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Her work was published in many of the "Mayflower Families Through Five Generations" volumes. She was an accomplished artist and an avid admirer of ancient Egyptian history.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bill Bryant of Pulaski; sons and daughter-in-law, Andy Reeves of Pulaski, and George Lewis Reeves Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reeves will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date from Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
