Services for George W. Humphries, 94, of 6708 Riverside Ave., Bell, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in L. R. Rice Mortuary, Maywood. He died Saturday in a local hospital. Burial will be in Inglewood Park Cemetery.

A Bell resident since 1914, he was born in Baileyton, Ala.

Survivors include three daughters, May Baber of San Jose, Gertrude Stewart of Bell and Elma Applegate of West Covina; two sons, Arthur Humphries of Carlsbad and Miles Humphries of West Covina; a brother, three sisters, eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
