Mrs. Birdwell was 40 years old, having been born Dec. 9, 1880, in Boone county, Ark. She left there with her parents at the age of 13, moving to Davis and lived near here the remainder of her life. On July 4, 1896, she married F. B. Birdwell, to which union were born: Matilda, Alvin, Dollie, Robert, Johnnie, Ruth, Wilburn, Lucile and Dora May, all of whom survive. Two brothers, Walter and John Edgmon, live near here and she had relatives at other places.

Mrs. Birdwell was a good wife, mother and neighbor, and will be missed not only by husband and children but by the many friends she had made.
