Harold L. Kigar, 53, died Saturday at his home in Traverse City. He is a former Gladwin resident. He was born March 1, 1911 at Broughton,Ohio. He was married Sept. 2, 1935 in
Gladwin to Lucille Coulier. He was a salesman for The Petosky Cement Company.
His survivors are his widow, Lucille; one son Hadley, Hastings; one daughter, Mrs. Sarron Ramsay of Lansing; also his mother, Mrs. Grace Kigar of Gladwin and four grandsons; two brothers, Donald and Rollin of Gladwin; two sisters, Mrs. Madonna Spring of Petosky and Mrs. Ruth Dersnah of Midland.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday from Miner Funeral Home in Gladwin. Rev. Rosa Tracy will officiate. Burial will be in Highland cemetery in Gladwin.
