2nd Marriage: 18 May 1975 • San Mateo, California, USA Marilyn Ann FLANAGAN (1944–2005)
Divorce: 11 Oct 1979 • San Mateo, California, USA Marilyn Ann FLANAGAN (1944–2005)
Norman Babkirk, resident of Grants Pass, OR, age 81, died January 19, 2011 of heart failure. A celebration of his life will be held in the near future at his son's home in Oregon. Please contact his son Doug Walker for details. If you are unable to attend please take the time to honor his life and memory in your own way. Norman was the oldest of five children; he was raised and lived almost his entire life in Brisbane California, just outside of San Francisco. He was a successful insurance broker with an office in Brisbane and then San Bruno Ca. He was an honorary life time member of the San Bruno Lions, and he was also involved with other various non-profits, including time on the County Grand Jury. He enjoyed being with his friends more then all else; a social butterfly through and through. He will be missed by all who knew him. The memory of his sense of humor, charm and wit and the smiles it brought to our faces will remain with us forever. It remained with him always; captivating and winning over the hospice nurse on his last day. He is survived by his son Doug and daughter Carol along with their families as well as his four siblings. In lieu of flowers or other gifts please send donations in honor of Norman to Josephine Community Libraries, Grants Pass, Oregon.
