D'ORDINE, LOUIS HUGO, 88, of Orange Lake, FL, formerly of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday. He was the husband of the late Christine (Izzi) D'Ordine and son of the late Rocco and Fannie (Iannucci) D'Ordine.

Mr. D'Ordine was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was an Army Air Corp. veteran of WWII, attached to the 191ST Tank Battalion. Louis was a member of the D.A.V., the American Legion, the VFW and the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Louis is survived by his cherished daughters, JoAnn Capps and her husband, Roy and Gale Sroelov and her husband, Dave, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. He was the brother of the late Etta DiCecco, Frank, Gaetano, and Rocco D'Ordine

Funeral Wednesday at 9 AM from the A.A. MARIANI and SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in The Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours, Tuesday 5-8 pm.
