Former Rockford resident Irvin P Busker, 89, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Born November 29, 1916 in Baileyville, Illinois, the son of Edward J and Dena (Dikkers) Busker. Married Alma M Davis December 4, 1936. She predeceased him August 4, 1997. He worked as a roofer for Carlson Roofing and Holm-Page Construction. He faithfully served numerous callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by sons Willis (Linda), of Rockford, Richard (Susan) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dennis of Rockford, and Dana of Rockford; special family members, Julia Smith, Randy Davis, Tim Davis; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and beloved foster children. Also predeceased by three brothers, three sisters and a grandson. Irvin will be remembered for being passionate about his faith, his wife and his children, in that order.
