Priscilla Martha was the daughter of William and Lucinda Digh Ledford. She married John Alford Freeman on Sep. 14, 1889 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, and their marriage produced four daughters (Lusabel, Hettie Sue, Polly, and Jackie) and six sons (Roy, Mack, Dewey, Odell, Norris, and Woodrow). Sadly, her eldest son, "Little Roy," died after his 2nd birthday.

Their second oldest daughter, Hettie Sue Freeman Burgin Conley, was my great grandmother.

***NOTE: She was named after her maternal aunt, Elizabeth Prissilla Digh Lucas.
