Mrs. John Schaefer, 50, of Denver, formerly of Windsor, died Saturday morning at the Presbyterian hospital in Denver. She had surgery there three weeks ago.
Mr. Schaefer, the former Rose Petrie, was born at Windsor Oct. 26, 1907. She was the daughter of the late Mr. George Petrie and Mrs. Katherine (Vogel) Petrie. She was married to John Schaefer in Windsor Feb. 14, 1930. They lived in the community until 18 years ago when they located in Denver.
She is survived by her husband, a brother and five sisters.
