Funeral service will be at Sunnyside Baptist Church on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Townsend officiating. Burial will be at Floral Memory Gardens.
Born on October 24, 1921 to the late Clifton Harris and Myra Alma Beard, she was a payroll clerk for the City of Albany. She retired after 25 years. Mrs. Weldon was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and a member of the DAV Auxiliary. She was also a member of AARP, the Golden Key Club, and Senior Friends.
She is survived by one son, Larry H. Weldon of Leesburg; one daughter, Carolyn Weldon Ingram of Albany; one brother, Bernard Harris, and his wife Edith of Donalsonville; two grandsons, Jamey and Jeremy Ingram of Albany; one granddaughter, Ashley Brim of Sasser; two great-granddaughters, Harris Ingram of Albany and Bella Brim of Sasser; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Weldon will lie in state at Sunnyside Baptist Church today from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
