CARROLLTON - Graveside services for Milton Leverne Conner, 74, of Carrollton, who died of cancer Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mr. Conner was a retired plumber for Ivey Mechanical Inc. in Kosciusko. A native of Leflore County, he resided in the area for most of his life. He served in the Corozal Canal Zone during the Korean War. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth M. Conner of Carrollton; three sons, Dale Conner of Brandon, James Conner of Carrollton and Robert Conner of West; one brother, Fred Conner of Carrollton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Dennis McKay will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Stewart, Jeff Conner, Keith Conner, Ralph Pee Jr., Leon McKay and Thomas Swafford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bidwell Green and Arlis Godfrey.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood.
